Raj built his first website in 1996 and registered his first domain in 1998. In 2003 he co-founded DMV.org with his brother. The unofficial DMV guide grew to tens of millions of visitors a year.
Inc named him among America's coolest young entrepreneurs. On paper he was successful. He has said publicly it still wasn't long before he hit rock bottom — and that what he actually wanted was health and purpose.
He practiced yoga, built community, and started putting the work toward a gift economy: Frenly, Frenly Pandas, yoga.org, and a small founding circle at raj.net.
